Maegan and Kevin invited me to their home in Seymour, Connecticut for their engagement session. The town is especially sentimental to them because they have known each other since they were children and both grew up there. During our evening together, I observed a quietness that seemed to define their love, and an uncommon closeness that Kevin shared with Meagan's family which was extremely touching.
We photographed many of the images in a field that Maegan has admired since she was a little girl. She loved the place so much that she had taken time the day before my arrival to knock on doors, find the owner of the land, and request permission to shoot there! Needless to say, I was utterly charmed by her attachment to the place and the beauty of it as well!
